We've owned a Mazda Astina 1800cc fuel injected since new. I've received different answers to the question of the use of unleaded E10. Can you please advise if this is OK to use or not. If not what should I use?

Answer:

Ethanol added to petrol in blends up to a maximum of 10% is called E10. Legislation states that E10 pumps must be labeled, giving you the choice of whether or not to purchase ethanol blended fuels. Unfortunately your Astina is not compatible with E10 fuel. Go to the Owner's section of this site, to Motoring Tips, to see an Ethanol E10 Compatibility Chart, for a list of all ethanol compatible (E10) Mazda vehicles. Thanks for asking the expert.
