Answer:
This is a tough question, because Mazda has so many safety features on their vehicles. With different features working in different ways and for different situations it is difficult for me to isolate a single feature. For example DSC/ESC is a great safety feature to help prevent loss of control of a vehicle. However it will not contribute to the safety of an occupant in the event of a stationary vehicle being hit by another vehicle or object. In this situation, Mazda's Advanced Impact Distribution and Absorption System (MAIDAS), airbags and active headrestraints (where fitted) will all help to maximize occupant protection. In my opinion the right mix of accident prevention features such as DSC, ABS, EBD, EBA and traction control, along with (in the event of a collision) features such as MAIDAS, 3 point seat belts, airbags, active head restraints and doors with intrusion bars fitted to reduce the amount of injury are the best combination of safety features in a vehicle.
