All images and videos are overseas models. Australian specifications and features may differ and will be confirmed closer to the launch date.

Mazda Australia is about to enter the next era of Zoom-Zoom as an all-new, all-electric model gets the green light for local delivery.

Anticipated to join the Australian model line-up in mid-2026, the Mazda 6e represents the embodiment of 20 years’ worth of collaboration with Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd, confidently delivering on smart electrification, fast charging and cutting-edge cabin technology with Mazda’s signature design, craftsmanship and meticulously tuned driving performance.

Vinesh Bhindi, Managing Director of Mazda Australia, confirmed: “This is a watershed moment for Mazda. The 6e is a car we are extremely excited to add to our portfolio, opening up a whole new realm of opportunity for our customers who still desire our acclaimed Jinba Ittai dynamics and unmistakable design, but also want to experience the myriad benefits of its electric drive and a host of next-generation technologies, which are some of the most advanced we’ve ever launched in a production vehicle.’

The Mazda 6e introduces the next evolution of Mazda’s design philosophy, “Kodo: Soul of Motion”. Its smooth, flowing lines and bold features give the car a strong yet refined presence. The low roofline and short-deck coupé silhouette offer a sporty look while keeping the functionality of a 5-door hatchback.
