Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Mazda 6e App the right app for my Mazda CX-6e?

Yes. The Mazda 6e App supports both the Mazda 6e and the Mazda CX-6e. Download it once, then pair your CX-6e to access charging status, climate control, remote locking and vehicle alerts.

What can I do with the Mazda 6e app?

The Mazda 6e app lets you remotely monitor and control your vehicle from your smartphone, including checking charging status, receiving life-detection alerts, and managing vehicle settings.

Can I check my Mazda CX-6e charging status from my phone?

Yes. The app displays charging progress in real time, so you can monitor your vehicle without returning to it. Notifications are also sent when charging is complete or if an issue is detected.

Does the Mazda 6e app notify me if someone is in my locked car?

Yes. If the in-life vehicle detection system identifies movement inside a locked CX-6e, it sends a notification to the app alongside audible alerts, hazard lights, and automatic climate control activation.

Do I need a subscription to use Mazda CX-6e connected services?

Yes - new Mazda CX-6e Connected Vehicles receive a 5-year complimentary period for Mazda Connected Services. This period begins upon the vehicle's first registration. The remaining complimentary period balance will automatically transfer to the new owner for customers purchasing a Mazda Dealer demo model or used Mazda Connected Vehicle.
